Crossing is a collection of tables, desks, and low storage units that plays with shapes, volumes, and materials, creating effects of extreme modernity and elegance. The additional top is conceived as a separate yet continuous element, folding and extending along the sides. A collection defined by apparently elementary geometry, it simultaneously delivers a visually complex effect and a symbolic reference to familiar architectural structures, such as the movement of a beam crossing a space or a bridge spanning a stream or gorge, supported by lateral rises.
