
Ron Arad

Born in Tel Aviv, Ron Arad studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem from 1971 to 1973 and later attended the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London from 1974 to 1979. Ron Arad began his career as a designer with the iconic “Rover Chair”, created from a leather seat of a Rover V8 2L mounted on a tubular steel frame. In 1981, he co-founded the design and production studio One Off, marking the beginning of his influential journey in contemporary design and architecture.
